Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Industrial Security Analyst (2) for our Roy, UT location.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide program security and personnel security (PERSEC) support to include but not limited to review and process required documentation in support of the SAP and SCI nomination processes; prepare and administer program indoctrination and debriefings; access, review and submit clearance/access information using DISS and JADE, and other information systems; maintain PERSEC databases in accordance with customer tracking requirements; maintain and operate document control register/database; process and manage incoming and outgoing visit authorizations and visitor control
Generate and/or review Program Access Request (PAR) packages; ensure all required information is provided, including currency of information, completeness of forms, and inclusion of required signatures. Generate Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIA), provide to briefer/debriefer, and/or execute briefs/debriefs on behalf of the government security team
Familiarization with the DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals (DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4), Sensitive Compartmented Information Administrative Manuals (DoD Manual 5105.21 Volumes 1-3), Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), IC Technical Specification (IC Tech Spec) for ICD/ICS 705, the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and other applicable security regulations and requirements
Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies/procedures
Ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with DD Form 254 and Issue subcontract DD254s Serve as the focal point for receiving, processing, distributing personnel security paperwork and a data transfer agent to ingress files and uploading into Government databases
Maintain liaison and good working relationships with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers
Assist CSSO and ACSSO as needed
Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or GED with at least 6 years of related experience; OR 2 years of experience with a bachelor's degree
Experience with any of the following: Government manuals (32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM, DODM 5205.07, etc.)
Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Must have an active Top-Secret clearance security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines
Ability to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, excellent communication skills speaking, writing skills and organized skills enabling effective communications
CSSO Experience
Ability to travel
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoDM 5205.07 Special Access Program Security Manual, and other US Government security manuals
Self-starter with minimal supervision
Proficient with ESIS/SIMS, DISS, and/or JADE
Completed security training (ex. CDSE) is a plus
Working knowledge of the JADE database
Basic knowledge of access controls and security systems
Ability to display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in a variety of program areas
Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Excellent communication skills, speaking, writing skills and organizational skills enabling effective communications and customer service
