What you'll be doing:

As a GBS Captive Supervisor, you will lead and oversee Record to Report and Procure to Pay activities, ensuring all accounting operations are completed accurately, on time, and in line with corporate policies and internal controls. You’ll supervise a dedicated cell team, balancing people leadership with strong operational oversight, to ensure high‑quality financial reporting and compliance. Acting as a key point of coordination between global teams and local markets, you’ll support month‑end close, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and development.

Key responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining the monthly activities calendar and team workload, ensuring proper segregation of duties.
Coordinating timely and accurate month‑end close activities in line with IFRS and internal accounting guidelines.
Reviewing and approving journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, payments, and key financial documentation.
Providing P&L variance analysis and financial commentary to Controlling CoEs and FP&A teams.
Supporting quarterly sign‑offs and preparing REP letters in partnership with senior finance stakeholders.
Ensuring SOPs, internal controls, and SOX requirements are fully implemented and maintained.
Leading, coaching, and developing team members to drive performance, quality, and engagement.
Supporting internal and external audits and working closely with Chief Accountants, controllers, tax, and internal control teams.
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and end‑user experience.

What we're looking for:

4+ years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally within a multinational environment.
A diploma or degree in Finance or Accounting, supported by a professional accounting qualification.
Strong knowledge of accounting systems and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
Very good written and spoken English.
Proven leadership capability with experience motivating and developing teams.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
A proactive mindset, strong problem‑solving skills, and high learning agility.
Comfort working in a multicultural, matrix organisation with multiple stakeholders.
