Account Manager – Medical Devices (Neurology) • Location: Sydney (Hybrid – 1 day/week in Newington NSW) • Territory: Australia & New Zealand (primarily inside sales with some travel)
About the Role We are seeking a commercially driven Account Manager to lead and grow our neurology consumables (EMG & EEG) business across ANZ. This is a hybrid inside sales and account management role, where you will take full ownership of consumables revenue within your territory. You’ll engage customers primarily through phone, email, and virtual channels, while collaborating closely with field sales to drive overall territory performance. In addition to sales ownership, this role offers exposure to marketing, digital engagement, and event coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied, commercially focused position.
Key Responsibilities Inside Sales & Account Management • Manage and grow consumables revenue across hospitals, clinics, and purchasing groups • Act as the key point of contact for all supply-related commercial activity • Drive proactive customer engagement via phone, email, and virtual meetings • Manage quotations, order processing, and pricing discussions across ANZ accounts • Deliver against revenue targets, with accountability for both growth and retention Commercial & Strategic Execution • Analyse sales data, pricing, and purchasing trends to identify growth opportunities • Develop and execute territory plans aligned to business objectives • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts • Support tenders, contracts, and purchasing group agreements • Apply strong commercial judgement to balance revenue and margin Collaboration & Cross-Functional Working • Partner closely with Field Sales (District Sales Managers) to align on territory strategy • Work with customer service and order entry teams to ensure seamless execution • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, promotions, and lead follow-ups Marketing, Digital & Webshop Support • Support and execute digital marketing campaigns and promotions • Drive adoption of webshop and online ordering channels • Contribute to lead generation and customer engagement initiatives • Localise and implement marketing strategies for the ANZ market Events & Conference Coordination • Coordinate medical conferences, workshops, and customer events • Support logistics, booth setup, and on-site representation where required • Assist with tender submissions and procurement documentation for events Systems & Compliance • Maintain accurate CRM records, reporting, and sales activity tracking • Ensure compliance with quality systems, policies, and procedures
About You • Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or B2B inside sales/account management • Proven ability to manage recurring revenue or consumables portfolios (highly regarded) • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends • Commercially astute with confident negotiation skills • Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities • Comfortable working in a hybrid, autonomous role with high ownership • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
