ROLE MAIN PURPOSE
Leading the EPMO and ensuring effective management and delivery of all projects across the Saudi Pro League. This role is critical in driving strategic project initiatives, optimizing project performance, and aligning projects with the organization's overall business goals and objectives.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
- Operational Responsibilities
- Chair the Project Steering Committee and facilitate decision-making processes.
- Ensure projects adhere to the organization's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
-Implement and maintain project management tools, templates, and reporting mechanisms.
- Oversee the allocation and optimization of human, financial, and technological resources across projects.
- Develop and implement resource management strategies to ensure the efficient utilization of project teams.
- Identify and address resource constraints, conflicts, and skill gaps.
- Collaborate with business units to identify and support the implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Facilitate organizational change through effective communication, training, and stakeholder management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and project management excellence. - Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the organization's project management framework, methodologies, and best practices.
- Oversee the execution of the project portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across the project portfolio.
- Provide regular progress reporting to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate project performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Lead, mentor, and develop the EPMO team, ensuring their professional growth and alignment with organizational goals.
- Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and continuous learning within the EPMO.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Education & Professional Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Senior leadership experience in the football industry, preferably at the league or club level. - Other Knowledge and Skills
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, enterprise-wide projects and programs.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Experience in the sports or entertainment industry is preferred.
