Preparation of short scenes.

THEME: The creative actor on stage
Preparation of scenes (repertoire and new creation) with emphasis on the theatrical space, using an actor’s active body and the collaborative relationship with scene partners. The practical integration of Lecoq technique in scenes and character development.

This course will preferably be taught by the same professor as THE1120-Acting 1

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

Requirements:

1. Five years of experience teaching acting at the post-secondary level and/or five years of recent and significant professional acting or directing experience related to the course theme. 2. Knowledge of contemporary national and international theatre trends.

Based on Basic Rate for a 3-credit course ($9 956).
