Job Description:
The Certified Public Accountant / Accounting Analyst (Leadership Role) is responsible for managing and guiding a team of finance professionals. The role typically involves providing guidance to team members, managing projects, and collaborating with other departments to support the overall financial health of the organization. The Certified Public Accountant / Accounting Analyst may also be involved in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- CPA License: Possesses a valid CPA license.
- Experience: Accumulated 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Education: Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven CPA Experience: Demonstrates successful experience working as a CPA.
- Knowledge Base: Exhibits a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Analytical Skills: Displays exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient use of accounting software and financial tools, including QuickBooks Online, Caseware Cloud, and ProConnect Tax Online or Lacerte as an added advantage.
- Communication Skills: Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to Detail: Showcases strong attention to detail with an unwavering commitment to accuracy.
- Team Collaboration: Demonstrates the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- 5 days a week, 2 days off, rdot when needed

Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
--Analyze the company's financial situation.
--Develop strategies for improvement based on the analysis. - Tax Compliance:
--Prepare and submit tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
--Ensure adherence to current tax laws and regulations. - Audit Services:
--Conduct financial audits, reviews, and compilations.
--Evaluate the accuracy and completeness of financial statements. - Financial Reporting:
--Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) following GAAP. - Strategic Financial Consulting:
--Provide expert financial advice to the Executive Team.
--Offer recommendations to optimize financial performance. - Budget and Forecasting:
--Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts. - Client Relations:
--Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with clients.
--Deliver personalized financial solutions and address concerns. - Compliance Assurance:
--Stay informed about changes in financial and tax regulations.
--Ensure ongoing client compliance.
