In this role, you'll:
As a Senior PAM Procurement Analyst, you will manage the selection, deployment and use of data resources, analytical tools, financial analysis and methodologies to provide procurement intelligence that supports category management strategies, decision-making and performance.
The role leads complex analytical and intelligence initiatives to drive organisational objectives and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Identify, develop, select and deploy data resources and contemporary analytical tools and methodologies which enable strategic reporting, analysis and predictive modelling to inform and support procurement and category management.
• Provide strategic analyses and advice on complex markets, supply arrangements and market development initiatives to provide a sound basis for procurement decisions and directions.
• Collaborate with procurement and business partners in the development of evidence-based procurement and category management strategies, policies and processes to meet their business needs and achieve quality and continuity of supply, procurement savings and improved business outcomes.
• Manage the design and implementation of effective metrics and reports to continually monitor and assess the performance of individual procurement arrangements and the benefits realised for the total category and procurement function.
• Consult with business partners to build compliance and risk management checks into research and analysis processes and reporting to ensure a continuing focus on risk identification, mitigation and management.
• Identify, develop and implement continuous improvements to market intelligence and insights which drive procurement excellence.
• Lead the onboarding and use of procurement and financial systems such as Equip, Beeline, and Buy.NSW.
• This role requires agility and adaptability to navigate a dynamic procurement and finance landscape within Transport.

To be successful, you will have:
• Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated relevant and equivalent professional experience.
• Strong understanding of government and TfNSW procurement and finance policies and processes.
• Proven ability to manage contract financials including related reporting and compliance.
• Experience in financial data extraction, reporting, and reconciliation between systems (e.g., SAP Inventory).
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple teams.
• A proactive and agile approach to meet changing priorities and deliver procurement activities effectively.
