In this role, you'll:
You’ll work within the Finance, Technology & Commercial (FTC) division, specifically the Divisional Management Office (DMO), supporting the Group Technology branch.
Group Technology delivers secure, reliable and efficient technology solutions that improve the experience for customers, passengers and our people.
This role plays a critical leadership function in ensuring the effective coordination, governance, insights and performance of the Group Technology branch, enabling Executive Directors to focus on strategic priorities and delivery outcomes.
You'll lead and deliver high level business support to ensure the efficient functioning of the senior executive management team within the Group Technology branch, including managing all cross-functional issues affecting the group such as safety, financial, business processes, reporting, and organisational improvement.
You’ll manage the day-to-day business operations and support services, ensuring the efficient delivery of services to the Executive Directors and organisational requirements.
You’ll lead, mentor and develop a team of approximately 17 professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
This permanent position is governed by our hybrid working model, which forms part of the organisation’s Flexible Working Arrangements and associated procedures. This includes a combination of required onsite attendance at Sydney offices and approved remote working.

About you
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience, you’ll have extensive experience in business planning and project management ideally in a Public Secor environment.
You’ll have extensive experience in the development, management, and improvement of business systems, change management initiatives and implementation of quality assurance processes.
You’ll have proven experience working in an environment of constantly competing priorities and managing these priorities to enable completion of projects while delivering day to day tasks in the required timeframes.
You’re a self-starter, know how to build strong relationships, collaborate and communicate effectively to drive outcomes.
You act with integrity and professionalism and are committed to developing team capability and culturally safe practice.
