Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Assist with meal service, hydration, and feeding as needed
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing or management staff
- Support residents with medication reminders according to community policies
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Assist with recreational activities and encourage resident participation
- Respond promptly to resident call systems and emergency situations
- Document care and services provided in accordance with community procedures
- Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving, home health, assisted living, or senior care experience preferred
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), CNA, or certification preferred where applicable
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed
- Must be dependable, patient, and team-oriented
