This role is responsible for driving disciplined execution of the F&B strategy through consistent measurement, actionable insight generation, and continuous performance improvement. Acting as the central point of reference for F&B commercial performance, the role translates strategy into effective planning to elevate overall F&B results and strengthen market positioning.
Key Accountabilities
Portfolio Performance Ownership
- Own Group‑level Food & Beverage performance across The Peninsula hotels, with accountability for revenue, margin, cost discipline, and productivity outcomes.
- Provide a clear, fact‑based view of performance trends, risks, and opportunities at portfolio, brand, and concept level.
Performance Frameworks, KPIs & Governance
- Define and govern standardised F&B performance frameworks aligned to Group strategy and Balanced Scorecard priorities.
- Ensure consistency in KPI definitions, reporting cadence, and performance interpretation across properties, and maintain a single source of truth for F&B performance.
Analysis, Insight & Decision Support
- Analyse financial and operational data to identify root causes behind performance outcomes and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Support senior leadership decision‑making on investment, pricing, concept optimisation, and resource allocation through robust analysis and scenario evaluation.
Performance Improvement Enablement
- Support the design, prioritisation, and monitoring of F&B performance improvement initiatives, including revenue optimisation, margin enhancement, and productivity programmes.
- Track delivery and effectiveness of initiatives, reinforcing accountability without duplicating line management responsibility.
Cross‑Functional Coordination & Capability Development
- Work closely with Operations Excellence, Finance, Guest Experience, and Brand teams to ensure F&B performance initiatives are integrated with broader OPS priorities.
- Improve the maturity and consistency of F&B performance management capability across the portfolio through tools, standards, and guidance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in portfolio‑level F&B commercial performance management, with strong financial, operational analysis and KPI governance capability.
- 10+ years’ experience in hospitality or complex multi‑site environments, with exposure to P&L management, portfolio analysis, and senior leadership support.
- Solid understanding of luxury hospitality and brand‑led F&B environments; experience in Group, regional, or corporate roles influencing operations without direct line authority.
- Strong analytical, structured thinker with the ability to translate strategy into measurable performance improvement initiatives; experience using BI, analytics, or performance management systems preferred.
- Confident communicator with a collaborative, change‑oriented mindset, able to influence senior stakeholders in ambiguous, matrixed, and cross‑cultural environments.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); and willingness to travel are advantageous.
