Quarry Operator

About the role

You will be a key part of the Tauhei Quarry crew, operating mobile plant. This is a hands on role where you will spend most of your time out on site operating earthmoving gear and loading trucks. 

About you

You will work closely with your teammates, backing each other to deliver safe, efficient production. One day you might be on the loader or dump truck, the next you’re doing basic plant maintenance, cleaning down the plant, or jumping in where the team needs you. When things get busy, you will stay calm, think ahead and help keep everything moving

You will also have:

• A Full Class 2 licence

• WTR are advantageous.

• An unwavering commitment towards living safely with a safety record to match

• Passion for the quarrying industry and willingness to learn and develop new skills

• Good attitude toward the care and maintenance of machinery

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
