We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join the team on a permanent full-time basis, servicing the Greater Sydney region.
This role will focus on driving commercial growth across the NSW region through the development of strong client relationships, identification of new business opportunities, and successful management of commercial projects and tenders.

Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue and secure new commercial and trade opportunities across the NSW region
- Manage existing commercial accounts while developing new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, developers, architects, designers and key stakeholders
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase market share and revenue growth
- Manage tender submissions, quotations and commercial proposals
- Maintain and manage a qualified sales pipeline aligned to revenue and margin targets
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure accurate quoting, order processing and project handover
- Monitor project timelines and maintain communication between clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Ensure order accuracy and timely fulfilment of commercial projects
- Maintain accurate CRM records, reporting, forecasts and pipeline activity
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging commercial opportunities
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain long-term client relationships
- Manage customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Reporting and sales management
- Other duties as requested by management from time to time
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, commercial sales or account management
- Proven experience managing B2B sales pipelines and securing commercial opportunities
- Experience within construction, bathroom ware, building supplies, plumbing or related industries advantageous
- Strong tendering, proposal writing and negotiation skills
- High level of computer literacy including CRM systems, ERP platforms and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Sound commercial acumen with the ability to analyse sales and pipeline data
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Driven to meet and exceed sales targets
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence
