About the Role
FNB is recruiting Sales Advisors across multiple outbound sales environments within Personal Segment Suites (PSS). These opportunities sit across distinct product lines, including:
- Transact Outbound (Suits) Desk – Randburg (3 Positions)
- Credit Card Desk – Cape Town (1 Position)
- Unsecured Loans Desk – Cape Town (6 Positions)
Each environment operates with its own focus area, leadership team, and performance objectives, offering candidates the opportunity to specialise within a specific product suite while contributing to the broader PSS sales strategy.
As a Sales Advisor, you will be placed within one of these dedicated teams, where you will be responsible for driving outbound sales within your allocated product line. While the core expectation of delivering strong sales performance and excellent customer experience remains consistent, the day-to-day responsibilities, product focus, and customer engagement approach will differ depending on the team you join.

- Engage customers through outbound channels to promote relevant financial solutions
- Identify customer needs and match them with tailored product offerings specific to your business unit

- Deliver a high standard of customer service while adhering to compliance requirements

As a Sales Advisor, your responsibility is to provide a positive customer experience by being helpful and sensitive to customer needs and aspirations. Offer value-adding solutions within a dynamic environment while adhering to policy and process.
Are you someone who can:
- Execute own work in accordance with the organisational values and code of ethics.
- Comply with and adhere to identified governance and compliance standards and escalate problems for investigation and resolution Identify and escalate risk as normal part of work.
- Produce high quality work by adhering to predefined standards and procedures and in accordance with compliance and governance standards.
- Work with enhanced processes and procedures to maintain operational efficiencies.
- Deliver work in an accurate manner to ensure consistent results.
- Draw on knowledge and experience to identify and develop solutions that leads to improved service delivery and quality
- Adhere to quality standards, turnaround times and Company policies and procedures.
- Complete relevant administration, reporting and updating of information accurately and on time.
- Achieve sales targets in line with performance scorecards and achieve an acceptable cost of sales ratio through pipeline managements and sales quality.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales revenue and to grow the organisational client base while containing costs.
- Assist with retaining or signing unbanked customer base with a view to improve and increase profitability.
- Maximize sales by selling packaged financial solutions to clients.
- Maintain specialised knowledge on all FirstRand approved products, application procedure, fulfilment processes and timelines to drive and achieve relevant sales targets.
- Maximise cross-selling opportunities.
- Drive adoption of digital and other self-service options across client base.
- Contribute to teamwork and inclusivity within own team.
- Contribute to cost efficiencies through responsible utilisation of work related resources.
- Achieve expected financial targets and uphold associated service levels.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Deliver customer service through adherence to quality service standards.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in direct sales
- Certificate in Banking equivalent to NQF Level 5
- Diploma or Degree would be advantageous
