What you will be doing As a Plant Operative at EMR, you’ll work closely with some of this cutting-edge machinery every day. Plant will do the heavy lifting for you, and you’ll use its capabilities to keep the whole site moving smoothly. Of course, it’ll also be up to you to keep your machinery moving smoothly as well, with regular maintenance to ensure it’s in top condition. You’ll be the hero in a hard hat that gets our customers’ materials loaded up, transported across the site, unloaded and processed, so that they can be recycled into tomorrow’s products. And your colleagues will all think of you as their go-to person, knowing they can call on you for support, assistance and creative solutions.
About you We don’t believe in shutting doors on potential, so we don’t ask for qualifications or experience. We can teach you everything you need to know. What we can’t teach is: • Enthusiasm • Teamwork • Smiling through all weather conditions • Getting stuck in and hands on If you have these qualities, you’re already well on your way to being an incredible Plant Operator. We’ll happily fill in the gaps by developing your knowledge, skills and expertise on the job. And we won’t stop training you once you’ve reached peak Operator status, because when you work for a global leader in sustainable materials, there is no limit to your career progression.
