Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Group Manager Commercial Property Management and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Develop and lead a seamless integration model and strategies for airport advertising concessionaires to meet the needs of advertisers and brands.
- Lead development of the strategy implementation plans for advertising sales and ensure/drive continuous engagement with relevant market.
- Lead and drive growth from advertising income and the development of a long-term sustainable model.
- Negotiate and review contracts/concession agreements with prospective and existing customers.
- Ensure that passenger data/insights on journey/experience are continuously gathered, analysed and interpreted and airport processes for purposes of developing effective and attractive advertising products at ACSA airports.
- Manage oversight of advertising audits.
- Develop Advertising policies and procedures and monitor the compliance thereto.
- Ensure relevant and specialised technical support is provided to applicable stakeholders.
- Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals.
- Collate integrated scorecards and reports for Function/Department/Business Unit.
- Forecast deviations and take long-term proactive action.
- Perform trend analysis and internal audits.
- Responsible for the development and continuous improvement of organisational standards, policies and procedures within span of control and monitor implementation to ensure full compliance.
- Ensure remedial actions is implemented timeously to address non-conformances.
- Plan, organise, lead and control subordinate's activities to ensure sub-functional objectives are met or exceeded.
- Coach team and create a pro-learning environment. Assess team development needs and close gaps.
Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:
- Bachelor Honours degree in Marketing/Commercial/ Business Management is essential.
- 8 to 10 years operational advertising Industry experience in is essential.
- 5 to 8 years Airport Advertising or Asset Management is recommended.
- Code B; Motor Vehicle Licence.
- MS Office at intermediate level.
