The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology supports a wide range of inpatient and outpatient women’s healthcare services, alongside academic, research and training programs. Through Early Childhood Development (ECD) PREP, the department works on multifaceted initiatives to advance ECD through clinical services, workforce development, research and advocacy.
The ECD PREP platform is seeking applications for the position of Associate, Education to support education initiatives through effective coordination and delivery of courses, digital learning solutions, stakeholder engagement and community-based advocacy programs.

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Associate (Education) ECD in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
Job Role / Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
design and deliver structured education training sessions for parents and caregivers
plan and conduct webinars, workshops and educational programs
develop and manage digital learning content and online courses
utilize Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) platforms for course delivery and learner engagement
engage participants through interactive and inclusive teaching strategies
monitor and evaluate participant progress and training effectiveness
support curriculum development and educational program planning
update and revise training materials and digital courses as required
conduct needs assessments to improve program effectiveness
prepare reports on training outcomes and participant feedback
collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen educational initiatives and advocacy efforts
Qualifications – External
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
You should have:
Master’s /Bachelors in Education Management or a related field with a certificate in Early Childhood Development (ECD)
additional certifications in digital learning, training or instructional design will be preferred
minimum 2 years of experience working as a trainer or facilitator
experience in teaching or training parents/caregivers
demonstrated experience in conducting webinars, workshops or community-based educational programs
experience in designing at least two digital courses
familiarity with Virtual Learning Environments (VLE)
strong understanding of ECD principles
excellent facilitation, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
proficiency in digital content creation and instructional design
excellent command over English and proficiency in MS Office and online teaching tools
