Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
- Provide patient care under Consultant supervision, including clinical assessments and monitoring.
- Perform permitted procedures in line with hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Communicate effectively with Consultants, patients, families, and the care team.
- Support care coordination with multidisciplinary teams and ensure treatment plans are followed.
- Respond to medical emergencies as required.
- Participate in academic activities and continuously enhance clinical competencies.
- Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and institutional protocols.
- Support assigned administrative tasks to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Requirements
You should have:
- An MBBS degree with certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and a valid PMDC license.
- Minimum five years of relevant post-MBBS experience, including house job; or Cardiology residency (with Internal Medicine exposure); or 3-8 years of experience with additional diploma/MCPS.
- ICU experience and procedural skills (e.g., intubation, central/arterial lines) preferred
- Ability to effectively work independently as well as with teams and cope-up with pressure on different rotations/shifts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills.
- Ability to deal with medical emergencies.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
