Job Profile
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Evaluating, structuring, and preparing credit proposals for Board approval.
- Reviewing and approving credit proposals (Corporate, SME, and Retail) within delegated authority.
- Supporting credit assessment and risk evaluation processes to ensure sound credit decisions and portfolio quality.
- Preparing reports and presentations for Credit Committee review and approval.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance with all credit policies and guidelines.
- Assisting in the development and updating of credit policies and risk tools to enhance credit decision-making and risk management.
- Supervising subordinate staff to maintain high levels of internal customer satisfaction.
- Coordinating with branch teams and the Credit Committee to facilitate credit approvals.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Be below 35 years of age.
- Possess a solid academic record, including successful completion of GCE A/L.
- Hold or be pursuing a degree or professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, CIM, ACA, CA, AAT, or IBSL (considered an added advantage).
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience at executive or managerial level within a licensed commercial bank or finance company.
- Have exposure to credit or credit services (essential).
- Be dynamic, results-oriented, and possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Be capable of working independently and managing a team effectively.
- Be fluent in English and Sinhala.
