Role Summary
We are seeking a Fraud Strategy Manager to lead US market fraud initiatives across client product portfolios including credit cards, debit cards, onboarding, money movement, and scam portfolios. This role combines portfolio oversight, strategic thinking, and proactive fraud loss prevention while serving as the primary engagement lead for client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the key point of contact for client counterparts across client product portfolios including credit cards, debit cards, onboarding, money movement, and scam portfolios.
- Translate client risk appetite and business objectives into actionable fraud strategies.
- Oversee testing and deployment of real-time fraud rules to optimize transaction declines and alerts.
- Monitor and present portfolio-level fraud KPIs, trends, and performance insights.
- Lead structured brainstorming sessions to identify innovative fraud mitigation opportunities.
- Collaborate with modeling, MRM, product, and operations teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Mentor B1/B2 analysts and drive engagement, ownership, and analytical rigor across segments.
Candidate Profile
- 5–9+ years of experience in Fraud Strategy / Fraud Risk Management.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience managing US market fraud portfolios preferred.
- Deep understanding of real-time fraud rule strategy and KPI governance.
- Candidates from Tier 1 institutes (IITs, NITs, BITS, IIMs) preferred.
Work Location & Shift
- 5-day work-from-office role.
- Locations: Bangalore or Gurgaon.
- US shift: 12 PM – 9 PM or 1 PM – 10 PM IST.
