The Civil Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site civil construction activities related to water infrastructure projects such as pipelines, pumping stations, manholes, and reservoirs. The role ensures that work is carried out safely, on schedule, within specifications, and to the required quality standards.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor daily site civil works related to water supply and drainage networks.
- Ensure that construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and site workforce to maintain smooth project execution.
- Plan and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently for daily site activities.
- Monitor progress and report any issues, delays, or deviations to the Project Engineer/Manager.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures at all stages of construction.
- Check and verify setting out, levels, excavation, compaction, and concreting works.
- Inspect workmanship to ensure compliance with inspection and test plans (ITPs).
- Support QA/QC and HSE teams during inspections and audits.
- Prepare daily progress reports, site logs, and maintain as-built records.
- Assist in resolving site issues and provide technical support to workers and subcontractors.
