The S2P Solution Architect is responsible for end to end solution design and architecture across the Source to Pay (S2P) domain, ensuring seamless integration between SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, Concur, VIM, and other procurement platforms.
The role ensures that BT’s S2P solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned to business, finance, and regulatory requirements, supporting transformation initiatives and business as usual operations
S2P Solution Architecture
• Own the end to end S2P solution architecture covering:
o Sourcing
o Contract management
o Procurement (P2P)
o Invoice processing
o Payments and reporting
• Design integrated solutions across SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, Ariba, Concur, and VIM.
• Define architecture patterns for procurement, invoice automation, and expense management.
• Ensure solutions align with BT enterprise architecture standards, security, and data governance.

SAP & Platform Integration
• Design and govern integrations between:
o SAP S/4HANA (MM, FI)
o SAP Ariba (Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts)
o SAP Concur (Travel & Expense)
o OpenText / SAP VIM (Vendor Invoice Management)
• Define master data, transactional data, and financial posting flows across platforms.
• Ensure accurate and auditable 3 way matching, invoice posting, and expense accounting.

Procurement & Finance Alignment
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, AP, and Tax teams to translate business needs into technical designs.
• Ensure solutions support:
o Policy compliance
o Financial controls
o Audit and regulatory requirements (SOX, GDPR where applicable)
• Support design of approval workflows, tolerances, controls, and exception handling.

Governance, Delivery & Stakeholder Management
• Act as the design authority for S2P solutions across programmes and releases.
• Review and approve solution designs, functional specs, and integration documents.
• Collaborate with System Integrators, vendors, and internal delivery teams.
• Support architecture governance forums, risk reviews, and design sign offs.
• Provide oversight during build, test, cutover, and post go live phases.
• 6–10 years of experience in SAP S2P / Procurement / Finance solutions.
• Strong hands on experience with:
o SAP S/4HANA
o SAP MM
o SAP Ariba
o SAP Concur
o VIM (OpenText or SAP VIM)
• Solid understanding of Source to Pay business processes.
• Experience designing complex integrations across SAP and SaaS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of financial postings, invoice processing, and controls.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience with SAP Central Finance impacts on S2P processes.
• Exposure to SAP BTP integration patterns.
• Experience in large enterprise or telecom environments.
• Working knowledge of Agile / SAFe delivery models.
• SAP certifications in MM, S/4HANA, Ariba, or Solution Architecture.
