Excavator / Forklift Operator

Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Wetherill Park site, the Excavator Operator will perform a range of operating duties within the metal recycling yard.  This is a permanent day shift role with hours from 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday. 

 

What you will be doing:

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Operating Excavators, forklifts and performing manual handling tasks
• Maintaining cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
• Conducting daily checks on mobile plant
• Adhering to safety procedures at all times

 

Pay rate – $33.72 per hour plus 12% super

What you will bring:

• Forklift licence is essential
• Experience operating an excavator essential
• Experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing is highly advantageous
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced yard environment
• A positive mindset with a general willingness to learn
• Passion for working as part of a collaborative team
