Service Deli Assistant – New World Ilam

 

We’re looking for a motivated, energetic foodie to join our fantastic Service Deli team at New World Ilam. If you’re passionate about great food, love working with people, and thrive in a busy environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

 

You’ll be joining a large, supportive deli team dedicated to producing high‑quality products and delivering outstanding customer service. We’re after someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Delivering excellent customer service to our valued customers
• Preparing, producing, and presenting fresh deli foods
• Maintaining stock levels and high presentation standards
• Following all Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures, including temperature checks and cleaning records
• Ensuring the deli department is kept clean and tidy

 

What We’re Looking For

 

• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Good listening and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a fast‑paced team environment
• Previous food preparation experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Commitment to great customer service
• Self‑motivation and the ability to work independently
• Physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy items when required

 

Hours

 

This is a permanent role working: Monday 10am-4.30pm, Tuesday 3pm-8pm, Thursday 1pm-5pm, Friday 8am-4.30pm and Sunday 12pm-8pm (30 hours).
