Position Overview: Report to TE DND MPDE global leader, own the final responsibility to organize the MPDE team to work by DND MPDE responsibility in designated product/process scope, cooperate with relative functions to manage NPI projects development and launching.
Responsibilities
• Organize to implement/maintain global NPI process, initiate/implement long/short term plan of Process &tooling development strategy/execution.
• Own the final responsibility of all assigned NPI projects, from development to execution, through planning, launching, communication/reporting.
• Develop/sustain long term plan of multi MPDE teams’ capability and capacity, by hiring/assessment and development program for team leaders and key talents.
• Own the MPDE responsibility to lead/participate/cooperate in global operation process, events/activities.
Qualifications
• >15 years’ experience of manufacturing engineering and or the development with no less than 8 years of management position or equivalent experience
• NPI background/experience of electrical connector or electrical component manufacturing industry with process of stamping, molding, plating, assembly/cable assembly
• Deep insight/understanding to the key points with rich application experience of PFMEA, DFM, tooling design and the software, data analysis/simulation
• Mature management experience under MNE culture in connector/cable industry.
• Mechanical engineering or equivalent knowledge, fluent English speaking, professional communication capability
Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with 12 or more years of experience; or Masters with 10 or more years of experience; or PhD level with 6 or more years of experience; or local equivalent
