About the RoleThe Clinical Applications Analyst partners with Imagen’s clinical and operational teams to support radiologists nationwide by ensuring clinical applications and imaging systems are stable, well-configured, and optimized for efficient, high-quality patient care. This role is focused on PACS and clinical application support, workflow optimization, issue resolution, and ongoing system performance, requiring strong healthcare domain expertise, effective client-facing communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a proactive, service-oriented mindset that recognizes the direct impact of technology on radiologist satisfaction, customer confidence, and patient outcomes. Responsibilities
Lead and support the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Imagen’s clinical applications and imaging systems to ensure reliable, efficient radiologist workflows
Serve as a subject matter expert for PACS and clinical applications, supporting system setup, troubleshooting, upgrades, integrations, and workflow enhancements
Partner with clinical, operational, and technical teams to identify and implement workflow improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce operational friction
Troubleshoot complex clinical application and imaging workflow issues, driving issues through resolution in coordination with internal teams, vendors, and customers
Proactively monitor application health, system stability, and workflow performance to maintain high system availability and minimize operational disruptions
Support testing, validation, and implementation activities related to new workflows, upgrades, integrations, and customer deployments
Train and support internal teams and end users on application functionality, workflow best practices, and support processes as needed
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to stay informed on upgrades, enhancements, and opportunities for workflow optimization
Provide day-to-day guidance and support to Level 1 support team members to ensure accurate, timely responses within defined SLAs
Participate as a member of the Level 2 support team, including participation in the on-call rotation, to support critical clinical operations
Flexibility to provide coverage outside of normal business hours as needed
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, with 4+ years supporting clinical or radiology systems in a production healthcare environment, consistently delivering high levels of customer and clinician satisfaction
Deep understanding of DICOM and working knowledge of HL7 interfaces, including their impact on imaging workflows and downstream clinical systems
Demonstrated end-to-end understanding of the full lifecycle of an imaging exam, including acquisition, routing, interpretation, reporting, communication, and archiving
Proven expertise in radiology and teleradiology workflows, including the roles of radiologists, technologists, support teams, and referring providers
Hands-on experience supporting, configuring, and optimizing one or more of the following clinical applications in a live environment: eRAD PACS, 3M M*Modal Fluency, Studycast, Volpara (or equivalent systems)
Experience troubleshooting PACS, imaging workflow, and clinical application issues in complex healthcare environments
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with radiologists, clinical staff, operational leaders, vendors, and technical teams
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, balance competing demands, and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced operational environment

The base salary for the position is between $75,000 - $95,000, plus equity, and benefits.
