Our Distribution Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate transportation of products from the Distribution Center to retail store locations, ensuring proper handling, adherence to delivery schedules, and compliance with all company and regulatory standards. Other duties may include but are not limited to shipping and receiving light computer work, the use of DC equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, etc. and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle (van, box truck).
- Pick up, transport, and deliver products to retail store locations on schedule.
- Load and unload goods, using dollies, pallet jacks, lift gates, etc.
- Verify orders before departure and upon delivery (quantities, condition, paperwork, etc.).
- Ensure proper handling of products to avoid damage.
- Manage invoices, packing slips, and delivery confirmations.

- Maintain delivery logs, mileage records, and receipts.
- Supports warehouse functions such as receiving materials, maintaining warehouse organization, shipping materials, and preparing customer orders.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, workstations and vehicle neat.
- Responsible for reporting any issues related to the routes or equipment to direct supervisor/manager.
- Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance, appearance and high degree of professionalism in communication and attitude with customers, partners and vendors.
- Adhere to all local, federal, and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices. These may include but are not limited to complying with the Company’s Time & Attendance policy and procedures and partnering with management to sustain workplace health and safety requirements according to OSHA regulations and the Company safety guidelines.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by management.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in a Distribution Center environment.
- 1-2 years of experience operating a van and/or box truck.
- Valid Class C Drivers License required.
- Proficiency in general DC procedures (including shipping and receiving/order picking).
- Ability to operate all DC equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, order picker, etc.
- Proficiency with inventory/database programs and POS System knowledge preferred, APTOS a plus.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management System experience a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours and varying shifts to meet the needs of the business.
- Strong communication (verbally & in writing), customer service, time management and organizational skills.
