We’re seeking a QC Inspector with strong experience inspecting precision mechanical parts in a manufacturing environment. This role is focused on blueprint reading, GD&T interpretation, and detailed part inspection to ensure components meet dimensional and quality requirements. The right person will be detail-oriented, technically sharp, and comfortable working with precision measuring equipment in a quality-driven production setting.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect precision mechanical parts to ensure compliance with blueprint dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and inspection requirements

Apply GD&T knowledge during first article, in-process, and final inspection activities

Perform dimensional inspection using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment

Verify part conformance for machined and mechanical components based on customer and internal specifications

Document inspection results clearly and accurately and report nonconformances when identified

Work closely with machinists, supervisors, engineering, and quality teams to resolve dimensional or quality issues

Support in-process and final inspection activities to help maintain product quality and production flow

Ensure inspection methods are followed consistently and in accordance with company quality procedures

Maintain accurate records tied to inspections, nonconforming material, and corrective actions

Help identify recurring quality issues and support improvement efforts within the manufacturing process
Required Qualifications

Experience inspecting precision mechanical parts in a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of GD&T

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

Strong experience with dimensional inspection and mechanical part verification

Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and related inspection equipment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to identify nonconformances and communicate issues clearly

Strong organizational and documentation skills

Ability to work effectively with production and quality teams in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications

CMM programming experience is a plus

Experience with first article inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection

Experience in a precision machining or metal manufacturing environment

Familiarity with quality documentation, nonconformance reporting, and inspection records
