Job Summary
- Design & Innovation: Generate innovative solutions for web design, ensuring a visually captivating and user-centric website that scales and is reliable.
- Web Development & Management: Oversee the creation and enhancement of web functionalities that address cross-channel customer needs. Implement automated solutions to foster organizational growth. Provide informed feedback, documentation, and reporting on business requirements regarding design/architecture of new web functionalities and systems.
- Data Management: Collaborate with IT to oversee data movements, ensuring alignment with content goals and overall strategy.
- Testing & Optimization: Rigorously test web functionalities for errors and improvements, employing A/B testing initiatives to fine-tune performance. Document results, progress, and opportunities and report them to larger team and stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Guide and manage the web production and data analyst teams, fostering their growth, training, and performance against defined benchmarks.
- Content Personalization: Supervise the delivery of personalized content based on customer segmentation, timing, and behavior, enhancing overall user engagement and conversion.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with multiple departments including marketing, design, merchandising, and IT to ensure web initiatives align with wider business objectives.
- Customer Insight: Utilize data from tools like Foresee and Certona to craft informed customer experience strategies, always focusing on maximizing engagement and usability.
- Financial Oversight: Bear accountability for the financial performance of the web store, including sales and gross margin objectives.
- Industry Awareness: Remain attuned to industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure our web experience remains at the forefront.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with web design/layout standards, including 508 compliance, mobile usability, and general UX best practices.
- Command over Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with Ecommerce platforms, with a preference for knowledge of Oracle Products (ATG Web Commerce).
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training in line with industry benchmarks.
- Ability to perform additional duties as the evolving needs of the organization dictate.
A total of 7 years of experience required
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Three years of general experience which was gained in administrative merchandising technical or other responsible work enabling the applicant to gain knowledge of web experience best practices skill in dealing with others in person- to- person work relationships and the ability to exercise mature judgment.
OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE:
One year of education above the high school level may be substituted for nine months of experience up to a maximum of a four- year Bachelors degree for three years of general experience.
AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Minimum four years progressive experience which provided background in website experience content management and metrics analysis knowledge and understanding of information architecture and web usability collaboration with various functional teams exempt or non-exempt supervisory experience or similar work which demonstrated the knowledge and ability within the web experience operational area. Base experience must include high proficiency with HTML CSS JavaScript and Microsoft Office Knowledge of website design layout best practices and industry standards including 508 compliance mobile usability and user experience and demonstrated experience with Ecommerce platforms and systems. Knowledge of Oracle Products ATG Web Commerce preferred.
