By joining the Project Execution Structuring team, you will be an engineer that transforms customer requirements into the Bill of Materials (BOM) for Gas Turbines. You will be at the intersection of engineering, systems, quality, and process improvement, while contributing to the successful execution of real customer projects.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supports projects concerning Gas Turbine technology Bill of Material creation.
- Contributes to quality, standardization, and system integration activities.
- Works to meet key KPIs such as: Say/Do Ratio, Quality Checks, Standard work creation and key team global metrics.
- Build expertise quickly in technical product data, systems, and Configuration Management
- Executes BOM Tasks (PBOMSTART, PBOMMEET, MLILIST, PBOMACTIONS; special support to EBOM and UNITBOM process release) effectively (SQDC).
- Collaborate with our Global TLs and Senior Engineers by supporting 1 or 2 initiatives to improve Operational KPIs and achieve Priorities and Breakthrough objectives (Quality, On Time Delivery, One Project Schedule, etc.)
- Recommend tool enhancements (PALM deployment projects).
- Implement and lead the solution of technical problems.
- Embrace innovation through Amp solutions to the team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Demonstrates understanding of the New Unit Release process from ITO to COD process milestones.
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish. English skills: Must be able to maintain a technical conversation in English.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to communicate with Senior Leadership.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills.
