Überblick

Berichtend an die Senior Sales Managerin Deutschland für den Bereich Elektrifikation ist I&C (Industrial & Construction) Sales Manager:in eine strategische und zugleich operative Vertriebsrolle, die für die Förderung des Wachstums von Prysmian in den Segmenten DIY, Elektroinstallationen, Rechenzentren und Großhandel in Deutschland verantwortlich ist.

Diese Position spielt eine zentrale Rolle bei der Umsetzung unserer Go-to-Market-Strategie, der Stärkung von Kundenbeziehungen und dem Ausbau unserer Marktpräsenz. Die Tätigkeit kann innerhalb von Deutschland, remote ausgeübt werden.

Ihr Beitrag zum Erfolg von Prysmian:

DIY / Elektroinstallationen & Industrievertrieb

• Aufbau, Pflege und Ausbau von Beziehungen zu bestehenden Kunden in den Bereichen DIY und Elektroinstallation.

• Identifizierung und Gewinnung neuer Geschäftsmöglichkeiten und deren Entwicklung zu langfristigen Kunden.

• Als zentrale Ansprechperson für zugeordnete Kunden agieren und Zufriedenheit, Loyalität sowie die Ausrichtung an den strategischen Zielen von Prysmian sicherstellen.

• Präsentation der Kabel­lösungen von Prysmian und Darstellung ihres Mehrwerts für Elektroinstallationen und industrielle Anwendungen.

• Erstellung wettbewerbsfähiger Angebote, Führung von Verhandlungen und Abschluss von Verträgen zur Unterstützung der Unternehmensziele.

• Beobachtung von Markttrends, Kundenbedürfnissen und Wettbewerbsaktivitäten in den Märkten DIY, Installation und Maschinenbau.

• Zusammenarbeit mit internen Teams (Engineering, Produktion, Produktmanagement, Logistik), um eine reibungslose Produktlieferung und die Erfüllung der Kundenanforderungen sicherzustellen.

• Unterstützung technischer Gespräche durch Abgleich der Kundenanforderungen mit dem Produktportfolio von Prysmian.

Data Center & Großhandelsvertrieb

• Aufbau und Pflege von Partnerschaften mit Rechenzentrums­kunden und Großhandelskanälen.

• Identifizierung neuer Geschäftsmöglichkeiten im Rechenzentrumssektor und Ausbau der Präsenz von Prysmian.

• Durchführung von Präsentationen zu den spezialisierten Kabel­lösungen von Prysmian, zugeschnitten auf Anwendungen in Rechenzentren.

• Führung des gesamten Vertriebszyklus: Angebotserstellung, Verhandlung und Vertragsabschluss.

• Aktive Beobachtung von Trends in der Rechenzentrumsinfrastruktur, Kundenanforderungen und der Wettbewerbssituation.

• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams zur Sicherstellung der technischen Abstimmung, termingerechten Lieferung und Unterstützung über den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus hinweg.

Das bringen Sie mit:

• Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in der Kabelindustrie, idealerweise in Bereichen wie Elektroinstallation, DIY, Maschinenbau oder Rechenzentren.

• Eine Erfolgsbilanz beim Erreichen oder Übertreffen von Vertriebszielen sowie beim Aufbau langfristiger Kundenbeziehungen vorweisen.

• Eine proaktive Einstellung mitbringen – ambitioniert, zielorientiert und motiviert, Geschäft aufzubauen.

• Starke Kommunikations- und Verhandlungsfähigkeiten besitzen; verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sind erforderlich, weitere Sprachkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.

• Einen ausgeprägten Kundenfokus und in der Lage, technische Anforderungen zu verstehen und maßgeschneiderte Lösungen vorzuschlagen.

• Bereitschaft zu Reisen innerhalb Deutschlands (50–75 %).

Overview

Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager Germany for the Electrification business, the I&C Sales Manager is a strategic as well as hands-on sales role responsible for driving Prysmian’s growth in the DIY, electrical installation, data center, and wholesale segments in Germany.

This position plays a key role in implementing our go-to-market strategy, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding our market presence. The role can be performed remotely from anywhere within Germany.

Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:

DIY / Electrical Installations & Industrial Sales

• Develop, manage, and grow relationships with existing clients in the DIY and electrical installation sectors.

• Identify and convert new business opportunities into long-term customers.

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring satisfaction, loyalty, and alignment with Prysmian’s strategic goals.

• Present Prysmian’s cable solutions, demonstrating their value in electrical installations and industrial use cases.

• Prepare competitive offers, lead negotiations, and close deals that support company targets.

• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities in the DIY, installation, and machine-building markets.

• Liaise with internal teams (engineering, production, product management, logistics) to ensure product delivery and alignment with customer requirements.

• Support technical discussions, aligning client requirements with Prysmian’s product portfolio.

Data Center & Wholesale Sales

• Build and nurture partnerships with data center clients and wholesale channels.

• Identify new business within the data center sector and expand Prysmian's footprint.

• Deliver presentations of Prysmian’s specialized cable solutions tailored for data center applications.

• Lead the full sales lifecycle: offer preparation, negotiation, and contract closure.

• Stay abreast of trends in data center infrastructure, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure technical alignment, timely delivery, and product lifecycle support

You are the right fit if you have/are:

• Proven experience in the cable industry, ideally within sectors such as electrical installation, DIY, machine building, or data centers.

• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and maintaining long-lasting customer relationships.

• A proactive mindset — ambitious, goal-oriented, and motivated by building business.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills; fluency in German and English is required, additional languages are a plus.

• Customer-first approach, with the ability to understand technical needs and propose tailored solutions.

• Willingness to travel within Germany (50–75%) as required.
