We are seeking a LVN Nurse Supervisor. The Nurse Supervisor assists in administering, directing and coordinating all activities of nursing services to ensure meeting the nursing needs of the residents.
Schedule- Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Responsibilities include:
Make daily rounds to all nursing units, ensuring that all staff are present, supplies are stocked and readily available and the unit is running smoothly.
Visit and follow-up with families and elders reviewing clinical records, documenting and communicating as appropriate, being proactive with family communications.
Provide oversight for healthcare infection control, ensure staff are following proper policies and procedures, conduct infection control in-services for staff and answer questions.
Assure accurate and complete nursing documentation by regularly reviewing documentation in the EMR; following up with staff to complete documentation and provide education as needed.
Assist in maintaining the department in full compliance with Federal, State and local regulations.
Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing
A current Texas LVN license
At least two years of general nursing experience, including supervision and geriatric nursing
Excellent communication and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
