As a Junior Financial Controller, you’ll become a key part of our finance team and play an important role across accounting, controlling and business. You’ll take ownership of core financial processes for our largest market, giving you hands-on experience, a steep learning curve, and strong opportunities to grow your career.
Ownership of core financial processes
You’ll step into a role working closely with the business and taking responsibility for core financial processes from bookkeeping to reconciliations. It’s a dynamic setup with broad exposure across both accounting and finance.
Your primary contribution to the team will be:
Bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
Ongoing reconciliation and invoicing of projects
Accounts receivable management, matching payments, and following up on overdue sales invoices
Reconciling for reporting purposes
Periodic review of reporting processes to ensure and improve operational design
Developing and optimizing payment and bookkeeping processes
Maintenance of master data across systems
Join our Group Finance team!
You will join our team of five, where 4 are based at our headquarters in Aarhus and 1 at our office in Belgrade.
As a team, we support financial operations across all markets, and we rely on close collaboration, sparring, and shared expertise to solve challenges and deliver strong results together. While we are ambitious and take pride in our work, our tone is informal and we enjoy each other's company - both in the office and outside, where we occasionally meet up for a run or a social drink.
You’ll report to our Group Head of Finance while working closely with the rest of the Finance team and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.
About you
You thrive in a fast-paced environment that challenges your analytical skills and technical expertise. At the same time, you bring a genuine eagerness to learn and improve, combined with strong professional and personal integrity.
In addition, we would like you to:
Have a relevant higher education in finance and/or accounting
Have 1–2 years of experience in finance or accounting, from either a student job or a full-time role.
Be a good communicator who can translate financial data into actionable advice for business stakeholders.
Have experience with e-conomic or other accounting systems
Communicate professionally in both Danish and English
