

The ED Tech-LPN/CNA/EMT/MA/ performs receptionist and clerical duties as needed, answers and relays telephone calls or takes messages. The individual performs specific, supportive nursing services, patient care, performs some housekeeping and cleaning activities of patient care areas including patient rooms, nursing stations, lavatories, etc. and/or public areas as needed. Will work in a support capacity and under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. Must be self-efficient in dealing with decision making, be able to manage time, pressure, and deadlines in a positive fashion, and be able to respond appropriately to negative feedback.
Education Required: EMT or CNA certification (either certification qualifies) preferred.
Related Years of Experience Required: Experience in a health care field preferred.
Credential/Licensure Required: CPR certification required. Eligible to complete certification of Healthcare Environmental Service Technician.
Shift: Working 30 hours a week, variable shifts, and every other weekend, holidays.
Shift differentials offered as a percentage of base rate: 10% for PM shift and 17% for night shift
