Senior Analyst, Investment Platform Support

The opportunity:
Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, Investment Practice Management & UMA Program Design, the Senior Analyst, Investment Platform Support is responsible for the day-to-day execution, enablement, and support of investment platform functionality, with a focus on trading, portfolio management, reporting, and advisor onboarding.
Key responsibilities include:
- Investment Platform Subject Matter Expertise
- Act as a subject matter expert for the firm’s investment platforms, including Envestnet, with a strong understanding of platform functionality related to portfolio management, trading, reporting, and managed account programs. Provide hands‑on support and guidance to advisors and internal stakeholders on platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
- Advisor Onboarding and Enablement
- Support the onboarding of advisors to the investment platform, including set‑up, configuration, and readiness for live use. Provide ongoing training and day‑to‑day support to ensure advisors can effectively leverage platform tools to deliver managed portfolio solutions to clients.
- Training, Demonstrations, and Documentation
- Deliver platform demonstrations to advisors and internal partners, tailored to different user needs and experience levels. Contribute to the development and maintenance of training materials, user guides, process documentation, and reference tools to support consistent and compliant platform usage.
- Platform, Trading, and Issue Resolution Support
- Serve as a primary support resource for platform‑related questions and issues, including trading, portfolio modeling, reporting, and data integrity. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner, escalating more complex matters as required while keeping stakeholders informed.
- Cross‑Functional and Vendor Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams such as Investment Practice Management, Technology, Operations, Compliance, and external platform vendors to support day‑to‑day platform operations. Assist with platform enhancements, issue resolution, testing, and ongoing operational improvements to ensure stability and effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree or diploma in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years’ financial services experience with strong portfolio management expertise.
- Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives, programs, or platform-related work
- Proficiency with the MSOffice suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Proficiency with Envestnet or similar platforms.
- Exemplary interpersonal and influencing skills; an ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively, across multiple mediums (in-person, over the phone, and virtually).
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations with appropriate guidance.
- Demonstrated high level of accountability, reliability, adaptability, and innovation in accomplishing day-to-day work and long-term goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities in a structured manner.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation.
