At AFCA, our purpose is clear: to deliver fairness in financial services. Within this mission, the Code Compliance & Monitoring Group plays a critical role, independently monitoring and enforcing industry Codes of Practice to lift standards, strengthen accountability and improve outcomes for consumers across Australia.
We’re now seeking an experienced and highly credible Head of Communications to shape and lead the strategic communications agenda for this influential group and its five independent Code Compliance Committees.
Why this role matters
This is not a traditional communications role. It positions communications as a core regulatory tool, using insight-led, targeted and authoritative messaging to influence behaviour, shine a light on industry performance, and drive measurable improvements in practice.
You will ensure the work of the Committees is communicated with clarity, independence and impact, strengthening transparency, building trust, and elevating the profile and influence of the Codes across industry, media and stakeholders.
