We are looking for an experienced and reliable Payroll Officer to join our team in a flexible part-time position. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys payroll processing but also has a genuine interest in HR administration and employment compliance.
You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll while also supporting the business with day-to-day HR administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing using Employment Hero
- Managing payroll queries and ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance
- Processing leave, superannuation, and employee changes
- Maintaining employee records and documentation
- Assisting with HR administration tasks including:
- Preparing employment letters and documentation
- Supporting onboarding and employee changes
- Interpreting modern awards and basic employment conditions
- Assisting with policy and compliance administration
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous payroll experience, including end-to-end payroll processing
- Strong experience using Employment Hero Payroll (essential)
- A solid understanding of payroll compliance and award interpretation
- Previous HR administration experience
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- The ability to manage confidential information professionally
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
