Axis Communication continues to grow, and we are now looking for a software developer with C experience who also knows, or would like to know, Rust. We are an agile team of developers with broad and mixed experiences working on the configuration software for our speakers. Does this sound like something for you? Apply today!
Who is your future team?
We are great team of friendly developers with both long and shorter experience. Our days rely on agile principles, teamwork, continuous improvements, and shared responsibility.
Don’t worry if you don’t know Rust. We have good experience of bringing new members up to speed quickly with a thorough and focused program. The whole team will be there to support you.
As your manager I believe that trust and collaboration are the cornerstones of a good team. You hold the expertise; my job is to pave the way for the team to excel.
What you’ll do here as Software developer?
You will join the Axis Audio Manager Edge team working on the backend for configuration, services and cross-device communication in all our speaker products. You will play an important role in delivering new and innovative features and products.
Our code is written in C and Rust, but we also use other languages such as Python for test. Most of the code reside in Linux user space and we rely on HTTP based APIs, MQTT, async code, and many other technologies. If you happen to know any of these that’s a great start. We strive to use an open platform and open standards which fits well with Axis company core value Always Open.
