Part Time COX Welcome Desk & Student Information Center Attendant

The COX Welcome Desk & Student Information Center Attendant serves as a key point of contact for prospective and current students and guests. This position provides customer service and assists with student resources at both the COX Welcome Desk and the Student Information Center, depending on scheduling needs. Responsibilities include helping guests navigate campus, issuing student IDs and parking passes, and maintaining and supporting Student Life resources. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institutional policy.

This is a temporary (seasonal) part time position expected from May 2026 - Sept 2026. (Dates are subject to change)

Essential Job Duties

• Provide superior customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors
• Assist with campus navigation, offering accurate directions to all NWACC buildings and locations
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Student Services resources to guide students effectively
• Stay informed about campus events and resources to provide up-to-date information to students, faculty, and visitors
• Assist the Office of Student Life in managing and maintaining the NWACC Food Pantry. *may require lifting up to 10 pounds
• Create and distribute student IDs and parking passes
• Maintain the game room and recreation equipment (including waivers and information)
• Performs other duties related to the position as required or directed

Rate of Pay: $14.00 per hour (up to 19 hours per week)

Required Qualifications

• The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a specialized or related area applicable to the work performed
