Role Overview The primary function of the Surgical Consultant is to serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing surgical patients, managing the patient journey from initial inquiry through consultation, surgical planning, booking, and post-operative follow-up. Collaborate closely with surgeons and medical teams to ensure patients receive expert guidance on surgical candidacy, cost estimates, procedural education, and ongoing care in a private-pay or medical environment.
Role Objectives • Respond promptly and empathetically to all patient inquiries via phone and email during business hours. • Schedule and coordinate in-person and virtual surgical consultations, documenting outcomes, quotes, physician instructions, and patient readiness in CRM systems accurately. • Collaborate with surgeons to confirm surgical candidacy and detailed quotations. • Facilitate pre-operative consultations, including patient history gathering, physical examinations, measurements, and diagnostic test ordering. • Educate patients on surgical procedures, risks, pre- and post-operative care, and follow up post-op to ensure patient satisfaction and outcomes. • Manage surgical administration tasks such as inventory oversight, lab test coordination, record keeping, appointment scheduling, and patient data management. • Implement structured follow-up processes to maximize conversion of consultations into booked surgical procedures and maintain pipeline hygiene through meticulous CRM updates. • Coordinate technology and logistics for virtual consultations for out-of-region patients. • Serve as a liaison among medical staff, administrative teams, and patients to ensure seamless care coordination. • Perform other duties as directed by management to support clinical operations and enhance patient experience.
Role Qualifications • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in sales (required). • MOA certification from an accredited institution or higher (preferred) • Experience in retail, or customer service roles, ideally within the beauty or medical aesthetics industry (preferred). • Extensive experience as a Surgical Consultant or similar role in medical administration or patient coordination within a surgical or aesthetic environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive patient discussions with empathy and professionalism. • Proficient in CRM software, patient scheduling, and documentation with high attention to detail and organizational skills. • Demonstrated ability to meet response-time and conversion targets effectively. • Strong team collaboration skills along with the ability to work independently. • Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings, to support patient needs #HP Employee Equity and Accessibility Statement Rejuvenation Medical Group invites applications from all qualified individuals.
