Permanent Dayshift, Remote/WFH JOB DESCRIPTION: AutoCAD Drafter Client : Custom bespoke joinery services VA Rate : $10-11AUD per hour Fulltime, 40 hours per week Purpose: The position’s primary responsibility is to create technical drawings to help design floor plans to build real estate or architectural projects. This highly-trained draftsman will work with architects and engineers to design and create 3D computer models of buildings from blueprints or from scratch. Qualifications: â Must have a relevant experience as a Joinery Drafter â Proficiency in Pytha is a MUST but will consider someone with Solidworks experience â Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients â Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally â Team Working skills and a collaborative approach to work â Decision-making skills â The ability to multitask and prioritize your workload â The ability to think strategically â A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Duties and Responsibilities: â Prepare technical drawings using Pytha or Solidworks (3d) software â Work with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that meet their specifications â Write related technical documents such as material lists and cost estimates â Ensure that all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards â Maintain a library of standard drawing templates â Update existing drawings as new information becomes available
