The Opportunity
We are seeking an ambitious, automation-first leader who can identify high-impact opportunities and deliver reliable and scalable automations through robotic process automation, agentic AI, and workflow automation. As Director, BL Testing – Process Optimization and Automation, you will lead the BL Testing team in defining and executing the Automation Roadmap. In this role, you will partner closely with the broader BL Process Optimization and Automation organization to automate existing routines, streamline end-to-end workflows, and uncover new opportunities to drive incremental value through optimization and intelligent automation.

The Work Itself
- Own and evolve the Automation Roadmap, driving clear milestones and measurable progress.
- Partner with the broader BL Testing team to identify, prioritize, and deliver automation opportunities across key workflows.
- Collaborate with the BL Process Optimization and Automation organization to identify and implement the most effective automation tools, and lead implementation for BL Testing.
- Develop concise executive-ready PowerPoint updates that clearly communicate roadmap status, outcomes, risks, and next steps.
- Define automation strategy, scope, and success metrics; ensure alignment to business priorities.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and change management to support adoption.
The Skills You Bring
Minimum Qualifications
- 9+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years experience within financial services strongly preferred
- RPA Developer Certification preferred
- Experience in the development of Robotic Process Automation technology preferred
- Working knowledge of agentic AI, Claude Code, and development platforms such as OPENAI or Automation Anywhere
- Ability to perform end-to-end process decomposition (as-is/to-be), converting business workflows into discrete automation requirements, user stories, and technical specifications (inputs/outputs, decision logic, exceptions, controls, and SLAs).
- Intellectual curiosity and continuous-learning mindset: proactively investigates root causes, asks incisive “why/what-if” questions, stays current on automation/AI and process-improvement techniques, and translates new insights into testable pilots, proof of concepts, and scalable improvements.
- Proven ability to operate in dynamic environments—rapidly reassessing priorities, managing ambiguity, and leading organizational change through successful delivery and adoption of new processes, tools, and automation solutions
- Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex technical findings into clear written deliverables and executive-ready narratives
- Ability to translate the BL Testing strategy into actionable process improvement / automation opportunities.

Base Pay Range: $125000 - $190000 USDAn individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
