Mikros Animation is a global CGI animation studio located in Paris, Montreal, Los Angeles, Bangalore and London, dedicated to feature films and episodic content. Under the supervision of the Character Supervisor and Groom Lead/Supervisor, the Groom artist provides a hair description of production Assets. The production of these hair descriptions is done in accordance with the internal technical workflow and the artistic vision established on the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Groom Artist will be required to groom, setup and (depending on the production's needs) shade the hair of assets based on concept art and model sheets provided. The person in this role will work closely with our Paris studio in a bilingual environment, as well as with international partners, talent, and clients. They will regularly interact with non-French-speaking stakeholders across various productions and strategic communications, in order to present and promote the creative and technical strengths of Mikros Animation on a global scale.
