This role operates across five key business areas at Heathrow, offering a dynamic scope where no two environments are the same and where strong, consistent leadership is essential.
- Security Governance
- Reviewing the state of corporate security operations delivered by third party partners
- Developing a security framework that can be applied consistently across all corporate sites
- Auditing third party delivery against contractual requirements to verify compliance and address any gaps
- Security Operations & Process Improvement
- Assess current third party security contractor processes, identify weaknesses and co-develop procedures with third party senior leadership
- Introduce and maintain improved security processes, including visitor management and acess control
- Culture, Behaviour & People
- Strengthen security culture within corporate environments to reflect the standards upheld airside and within terminals
- Develop and implement training packages for users of corporate spaces and design communications to reinforce cultural expectations and inform of any procedural changes
- Champion behaviour such as active challenging, accountability, and increased situational awareness
- Infrastructure & Physical Security Enhancements
- Identify infrastructure vulnerabilities and find solutions that are required to improve the security of the building, from minor to major upgrades
- Develop business cases and secure funding for physical improvements
You will have the ability to bring multiple stakeholders together and have strong influencing and communication skills. You must have experience in managing 3rd party contracts, including security and compliance auditing.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to command the trust and respect of senior security professionals.
