The Role
This position will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance functions in accordance with statutory requirements, company policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly financial closing, preparation of journals, audit schedules, bank reconciliation, preparation of financial results/management reports/annual financial statements
- Assist in analysis of financial results; preparation of forecasting and budgeting exercises
- Assist with audit and tax information preparation; liaise with auditors and tax agents for year-end audit and Corporate tax/GST filing/compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Assist with other ad-hoc assignments such as UAT and data migration verification as and when required
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance and/or Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA
- Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in accounting, preferably in real estate industry
- Well-versed in SFRS(I) and other accounting regulatory requirements
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP, Blackline, BPC and Tagetik, Power BI system(s) and/or good real estate knowledge would have an added advantage
- Highly meticulous, analytical, and detail‑oriented, with the ability to work independently
- Strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of delivering high‑quality work under tight timelines
