Hours of work: Temp. Rotation, includes overnight and weekends (85.5 hrs. biweekly)

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and coordinate master site/employee schedule to fill shifts as needed.
- Schedule employee coverage in order to ensure best operations standards
- Manage and maintain schedule by filling open shifts and coordinating schedules to increase or decrease the amount of necessary staffing.
- Manage and maintain employee schedules, including changing shifts/employees immediately to ensure sites are staffed appropriately
- Update and maintain system to reflect holidays, vacations, home visits, appointments, etc.
- Communicate regularly with staff regarding staff assignments and issues.
- Scheduler will assure all shifts are filled to meet site/client requirements.
- Keep phone list updated, and current staff information and employee data updated in system
- Communicate on a regular basis with supervisors regarding open shifts/shift coverage to keep continuity of service.
- Ensure staff and clients are aware of schedules on a regular basis.
- Works collaboratively with supervisors on scheduling issues.
- Organizes on-site orientation, training, and meetings for relief employees.
- Works with Relief Coordinator if there are patterns or trends of staff absences to address accountability.
- Manages Community Services and DAL schedule by maintaining schedules for employees.
- Completes shift requests by responding to supervisors and employees via email or telephone.
- Maintains employee and client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Ensure all employees have access to Catalyst, Momentum, and Workschedule.net including deactivating employees who have separated from Excel.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. University/college degree is an asset.
- Previous administrative experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience scheduling within UKG is an asset.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Satisfactory criminal record check.
