Position Overview:
This is a dual-role position combining responsibility for the accounting operations of the holding company and its subsidiaries, together with providing high-level administrative and back-o ice support to the executive management team.
We are looking for a reliable, highly organized, and detail-oriented Finance & Administrative Coordinator to support the financial operations of our group, while assisting management with a broad range of administrative responsibilities. The role requires a strong foundation in financial accounting, the agility to manage diverse administrative functions, and exceptional multitasking abilities. The ideal candidate must demonstrate analytical precision, a proactive mindset for back-o ice operations, and the discretion necessary for executive-level support. This position is well suited for a motivated professional with experience in bookkeeping and office administration who is looking to grow within a dynamic, international organization operating in the mission-driven microfinance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Responsibilities:
• Recording daily financial transactions in accounting systems.
• Maintaining accurate general ledger records.
• Monitoring and processing invoices, expenses, and payments.
• Collecting financial information from subsidiaries and consolidating into management-level reports.
• Assisting in preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
• Tracking financial performance and preparing internal reporting summaries.
• Coordinating with external accountants and assisting with tax documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Administrative & Back Office Support:
• Providing ongoing administrative support to company management.
• Calendar coordination and meeting scheduling.
• Preparing reports, presentations, and documentation.
• Taking meeting minutes and ensuring follow-up on action items.
• Organizing international travel arrangements and logistics.
• Communicating with partners, international teams, and suppliers.
• Managing office and travel expenses and documentation.
• Handling confidential and sensitive information with full discretion Requirements.
• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
• Strong proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent English (written and spoken).
