Superlanet is seeking a
Vice President of Business Development
to lead and scale revenue growth across new and existing hospital and health system clients nationwide. This role is responsible for driving new client acquisition, expanding strategic accounts, and strengthening long-term partnerships while ensuring high-quality delivery of healthcare IT staffing services across Epic and other EMR platforms.
The ideal candidate brings deep healthcare IT staffing experience, a strong track record of building and growing health system relationships, and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CMIOs, and clinical and operational leaders. This position blends strategic growth leadership with hands-on client engagement to deliver talent solutions aligned with patient care and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Drive new business development across health systems and hospital clients
Expand existing accounts through strategic upsell and cross-sell opportunities (implementations, upgrades, managed services, and support)
Lead strategic pursuits, RFP responses, proposals, and go-to-market initiatives
Build and maintain executive-level relationships to generate long-term revenue growth
Client Strategy & Healthcare IT Expertise
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging knowledge of Epic and healthcare IT environments
Translate clinical, operational, and IT needs into effective staffing and consulting solutions
Stay current on Epic trends, implementation roadmaps, and workforce challenges
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and grow Business Development and Account Management teams
Establish performance metrics, pipeline management, and revenue targets
Foster a high-performance, client-first, and collaborative culture
Partner with Operations and HR to align delivery capabilities with growth strategy
Requirements
Required:
10+ years in healthcare IT staffing, consulting, or services, with leadership experience
Proven success driving new business development and revenue growth within health systems
Direct experience supporting hospital/health system environments
Strong understanding of hospital operations, clinical workflows, and IT initiatives
Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Preferred:
Experience supporting Epic implementations or large-scale healthcare IT initiatives
Background in clinician-led or healthcare-focused organizations
Familiarity with multi-state workforce delivery and compliance
