The LBHP is expected to use evidence based treatment to families with children that have behavioral and emotional issues. LBHP needs to demonstrate an ability to collaborate with school administration as well as community stakeholder. The LBHP will assist the administrative staff in maintaining the guidelines of the program policies and procedures for client treatment.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, and/or Addictions Counseling
Licensure or Candidacy in the State of Oklahoma in counseling required; Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
6 months or more of experience in working with children and families
Advanced knowledge in completing mental health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Willing and able to demonstrate cultural humility and work with diverse populations
General Qualifications
Ability to provide Individual, Group, and Family Counseling
Ability to work with children and families
Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality at all times
Must be CPR certified or within 90 days
Must be HIPAA and Privacy Act trained
Must be flexible in nature and able to work as part of a team
Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance that positively represents the Osage Nation
Requires the ability to work independently and exhibit problem solving skills which remain inside the values and policies of the organization.
Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics
Requires strong patient chart documentation skills
Requires the ability to prioritize and multitask independently
Requires familiarity with planning concepts and processes including but not limited to program planning
Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions as required by the grant
Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs
Requires good interpersonal communication and team work skills
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
Must have a clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles
