Purpose:
This role is required to manage shift-based receipt, storage and dispatch operation at the terminal in a safe and efficient manner, together with the following:
- To ensure all day-to-day operations at the terminal are carried out according to procedures and compliance with all HSSE CF requirements.
- Manage terminal assets as per AMS / DGAME guidelines. Management of receipt, storage and delivery of all POL products ensuring product quality in a safe, efficient and customer focused manner to meet business’s requirements.
- Able to manage emergency response as per terminal’s ERP.
Accountabilities:
- Confirm that loadings are entered correctly into the system and resolve any problems associated in this area.
- Operation of applicable software systems, such as GSAP/OMEGA.
- Check actual quantities received against planned/loaded quantities and ensure that correct quantities are captured in a timely manner.
- Supervise operation at receipt and dispatch gantries through physical presence.
- Record load volumes from Shell and refineries into GSAP.
- Verify and record the correct quantity of hydrocarbons leaving the Terminal, ensuring accurate loss control and procedural compliance.
- Support monitoring additive operation and stock levels at the terminal and inform TOS dispatch accordingly to prevent additive stock outs.
- Administer terminal dispatch services capturing information related to loading and delivery confirmation.
- Operate Gantries (receipts & Dispatch) as per approved LOPs.
- Record services executed by Suppliers or to select the correct services from the catalogue in the case of unplanned service Purchase Orders.
- Responsible for the verification of terminal assets. Request work orders for any task needed regarding preventive and breakdown maintenance execution at terminal.
- Responsible to manage HSSE of the terminal.
- Responsible to keep the resources productive and motivated work force for dispatch / receipt operations.
- Responsible to ensure S&H losses within the prescribed limits/targets as per TOM.
- Responsible for HSSE compliant vehicles reporting at the loading gantry from safety and security perspective.
- Responsible to ensure error free environment in ERP systems.
- Responsible to ensure security protocols of the terminal as per security manuals and group guidelines on use of force.
- Supervise and perform in-house surveillance and preventive maintenance checks with duly filled PRTs as assigned by the terminal manager or delegate.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Daily reconciliation of Bulk and packed stock in ERP and managing issues of terminal operations.
- Supporting for terminal OPEX / CAPEX projects as per Shell’s guidelines.
- Good field visibility and regular checking of SAFETY of all incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Support in maintaining terminal HEMP, ERS, AMP, R&I, PTW systems, SCD’s and HRA as per CF guidelines.
- Support in maintaining Assets as per guidelines through Asset Management System.
- Support in timely updating of site critical drawings as per DGAME.
- Error free operation of GSAP/OMEGA.
- HSSE proactive and reactive reporting as per annual HSSE plan.
Qualification
Minimum Bachelors (Engineer preferred)
