About the Role
We’re seeking an Originator & Structurer to focus on Short‑Term Power Transactions, supporting Senior Originators in the origination, structuring and execution of short‑ to medium‑term power transactions within the Australian electricity market. This is a strong development opportunity for someone looking to build capability in energy origination and structured transactions, working closely with experienced leaders.
Reporting to the Head of Origination, the role works closely with Trading and cross‑functional stakeholders to support deal delivery, client engagement and the continued growth of ENGIE’s commercial activities, while strengthening ENGIE’s market presence and capability in structured energy transactions and supporting your ongoing learning and progression in the role.

You bring a collaborative, commercially minded approach and are motivated, curious and keen to learn, with an interest in building capability in power origination and short‑term energy transactions. You’re comfortable supporting complex commercial deals, working across trading and broader business teams, and contributing to value creation in a fast‑moving energy market with the support of experienced colleagues.
